Senior Railway Systems Engineering Leader


Job Description

The primary objective of this position is to establish and implement Systems Engineering capabilities that support Reliability in Railway Engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and consolidating OE capabilities to undertake Asset Reliability Trending and Analysis, Asset Modifications, Maintenance Process Improvements, Configuration Management, and facilitate the development of Condition Monitoring (CdM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) capabilities.

Additionally, the candidate will support the development of policies to achieve Reliability and Maintainability.

The position involves leading and collaborating with Line Engineering Departments for Reliability Trending & Analysis to identify improvement and enhancement of Railway System.

The candidate will also lead Technical Analysis on Asset Modification of Railway System, support Line Engineering Departments on Maintenance Process Improvement for productivity enhancement of Railway System, and support Line Engineering Departments on Maintenance Schedule Review for any risk identification of Railway System.

Other responsibilities include supporting Line Engineering Departments in Significant Railway Defects Investigations and supporting MEC Section in implementing CdM and PdM of Railway System.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a strong background in Science or Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant Railway Engineering Experience.

Chartered Engineering in Transportation (Railway) is highly desirable. The candidate should also have excellent leadership and managing skills, with experience in managing teams and driving business outcomes.

In addition, the successful candidate should possess knowledge in computer hardware or software applications, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

A keen interest in research and experimentation, as well as up-to-date knowledge of latest technologies, is essential for this role.
