Procurement Specialist Role

This is a highly sought-after position that involves overseeing the preparation of quotations, managing progress claims and payments, communicating with main contractors' Quantity Surveyors on certification of claims for payments, and supporting the Project Manager in pre-contract/post-contract matters when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quotations and handle progress claims and payments.
  • Manage Variation Order (VO) claims and finalize accounts.
  • Communicate with main contractors' QS on certification of claims for payments.
  • Support the Project Manager in pre-contract/post-contract matters when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant certificate or knowledge in Quantity Surveying/Engineering/Architectural is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the construction industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are required.
  • The ideal candidate should be sharp and cost-efficient when dealing with figures.
  • Good teamwork skills are essential.
