Job Title: Global Markets Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our derivatives team and oversee overall operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective control of group-related transactions, investigating discrepancies, and resolving issues promptly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the derivatives team in investigating discrepancies arising from transactions.
  • Implement risk management controls and policies to minimize errors and clerical mistakes.
  • Contribute to manpower planning, staff development, and appraisals.
  • Evaluate and ensure adherence to local laws and regulations.
  • Control activities offshored and provide statistical reports.
  • Implement auditor recommendations and conduct business continuity drills with staff.

About You:

  • A minimum degree in Banking & Finance or equivalent is required.
  • More than 5 years of experience in derivatives processing, confirmation, and fund settlement, with 1-2 years as a team lead.
  • Critical thinking skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to lead teams.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Treasury expertise and Microsoft Office skills are necessary.
  • Familiarity with derivatives and compliance is required.
  • Experience in people management and cash flow analysis is an advantage.
