Senior Localisation Specialist

This role oversees the localisation strategy for a specific market, ensuring that all content is culturally resonant and brand-aligned.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing linguists, working closely with the Quality Team to monitor language quality, and identifying opportunities for market-specific localisation strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of localisation work for assigned languages/market;
  • Quality Monitoring: Monitor quality of localised content, provide feedback to vendors, address translation issues, and escalate recurring problems to the central Quality Team;
  • Vendor Management: Assess and onboard new vendors, build relationships with vendor linguists, and manage localisation assets (Style Guides, Glossaries, Translation Memories);
  • Localisation Services: Provide urgent marketing translations as needed, consult on transcreation, voice-over, post-editing services, etc.;
  • Strategy: Contribute to central localisation strategy by providing local market insights, identify localisation opportunities in customer journeys to enhance international customer experience, facilitate research, experimentation, and A/B testing;

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in a similar localisation role, native speaker skills in the target language, and proficiency in CATs, TMSs, MT, and post-editing tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for influencing diverse stakeholders across business levels.
