Job Title: Production Planning and Supply Chain Optimization Specialist
">Description: The role of a Production Planning and Supply Chain Optimization Specialist is crucial in ensuring seamless production flow and inventory management. This involves developing and maintaining a Master Production Schedule to balance production targets with available resources.
">Responsibilities:
- Create and implement load and capacity analyses for production cells and RFQ parts, recommending solutions and resource allocations.
- Coordinate material planning and outsourcing activities to support production schedules and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Lead regular production review meetings covering forecasts, order fulfillment, and cost of quality issues.
- Promote process improvements and cost reduction initiatives through Lean and continuous improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in production and materials planning within the manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in MRP/Syteline systems and advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, formulas).
- Strong analytical abilities with experience in load/capacity analysis and effective issue resolution.
Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary range of $4,000 to $6,000 per year.
