Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and define detailed functional specifications based on functional and non-functional requirements documents
  • Collaborate with functional business analysts and business units to clarify functional and non-functional requirements
  • Work closely with architecture teams to define project target states and specifications
  • Collaborate with business and IT to analyse, elicit, and review business requirements
  • Participate and contribute to technical solutioning and architecture reviews with architecture teams
  • Define functional and non-functional requirements and perform impact analysis assessments with vendors
  • Perform detailed estimations of projects and change requests
  • Facilitate communication between vendors, project teams, business stakeholders, and internal IT teams
  • Conduct FDS reviews, write, and review user stories with functional business analysts and business units for signoff
  • Review interface designs and API specifications created by development teams
  • Review test strategies and functional test cases created by testing teams
  • Support project and delivery teams throughout project implementations
  • Monitor and manage risks/issues related to requirements and scope creep
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related disciplines or equivalent experience
  • 8 to 15 years of relevant business analysis experience related to pre-payments, core-payments processing, and post-payment processing
  • Relevant experience in banking/finance/IT; good knowledge of financial services policies, procedures, products, and industry practices
  • Good knowledge of channel products for wholesale banking focusing user experience/journeys, validation, and processing
  • Advantageous to have hands-on experience configuring payment products/systems from vendors like FIS
  • Good open API knowledge for design and delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage functional and technical stakeholders across multiple business units
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven results-oriented person with a main focus on delivery
  • Good understanding and experience in standard software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile development methodologies
  • Strong negotiation skills
