We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to join our team at Management Development Institute Of Singapore.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Front Desk and Residence, including attending to all enquiries, reservations, and feedback.
You will also be able to assign rooms for room changes and reservations made for individual, group, and short-term bookings.
Handle all tenants' Check-In and Check-Out in an accurate, efficient, and friendly manner.
Conduct in-room and/or house rules orientation in a professional manner.
Activate, record, and monitor the room access card(s).
Follow up on damages/defects with tenants and external vendor(s).
Perform deposit refunds, cashier duties, generate receipts, invoices, and reports, ensuring accuracy at end-of-day settlement.
Process commissions for paid reservations to agents.
Carry out night audit process with the property management system.
Prepare operational reports and/or generate comparative data to management, including occupancy forecasts, monthly arrival and departure lists, and monthly surveys on service quality.
Work along with outsourced partners like Housekeeping, Security, and Property Management.
Occasionally help out and/or attend after-shift Residence events.
Uphold the image of the Residence in terms of cleanliness and tidiness at the front and back of the house at all times.
Perform ad-hoc front desk and/or business support administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly detail-oriented and accurate.
- Prior experience with the Opera system will be an advantage.
