SAP System Administrator Position

We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn individual to join our SAP Basis Team.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to support our consultants in various tasks related to SAP system administration. This includes performing installations, upgrades, patching, and landscape maintenance. You will also be responsible for administering SAP databases, ensuring system health and performance, and monitoring systems to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.

  • Perform SAP system installations, upgrades, patching, and landscape maintenance
  • Administer SAP databases (e.g., HANA, MSSQL) and ensure system health and performance
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance
  • Manage transports, system backups, and disaster recovery planning and testing
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud service, and functional teams
  • Handle user administration, role assignments, and security configurations
  • Provide on-call support for production systems as part of a support rotation
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and enhancements

**Required Skills and Qualifications: **

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • A genuine interest in SAP technology, system administration, or enterprise IT
  • Familiarity (or coursework) in operating systems such as Linux or Windows Server
  • Basic understanding of databases and networking concepts is a plus
  • Willingness to learn SAP Basis, cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure), and IT support best practices
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with team members
  • No prior SAP experience is required, but internships, projects, or certifications will be advantageous
