Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis professional to fill this critical role at our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Demonstrate strong knowledge and skills in SAP Systems, including installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, administration, and monitoring (SAP NetWeaver, SAP Solution Manager, SAP ECC).
  2. Administer databases, including SAP HANA, Sybase ASE, and SAP IQ.
  3. Manage operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux.
  4. Configure Microsoft applications, including Active Directory and System Center Suite.
  5. Utilize management tools, such as SCCM, WSUS, SEPM, and SCVMM, as well as virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper-V.
  6. Ensure storage and backup functionality, including Symantec NetBackup.
  7. Implement web tools, including F5 Load Balancer, Proxy/Reverse Proxy Setup, Apache, IIS, and SAP Web Dispatcher.
  8. Hardening of Windows Server and Linux systems for IT security.
  9. Perform SAP system copying/cloning, utilizing heterogeneous and homogeneous methodologies.
  10. Manage SAP backup and restore procedures, following database-specific and OS-specific protocols.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an SAP Basis professional.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems implementation, and support.
  • Preferred experience in client copies, system cloning/copy, transport management, user account management, patch management, and SAP system backup/restore.

A strong planning, communication, and coordination background is essential for this role. A reliable, responsible, and proactive team player is required.
