The role of SAP Basis Administrator is available in Singapore. This is a 12 months contract position based at Depot Road.

  • Key responsibilities include the installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, administration and monitoring of SAP systems (SAP NetWeaver, SAP Solution Manager, SAP ECC).
  • Database administration involves working with SAP HANA, SAP ASE (Sybase) or SAP IQ.
  • Operating Systems administration requires expertise in Windows Server and Linux.
  • Maintenance of Microsoft applications such as Active Directory and System Center Suite.
  • Management tools including SCCM, WSUS, SEPM and SCVMM; Virtualization platforms VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Storage and backup solutions such as Symantec NetBackup.
  • Web tools comprising F5 Load Balancer, Proxy/Reverse Proxy Setup, Apache, IIS and SAP Web Dispatcher.
  • IT security hardening on Windows Server and Linux.
  • SAP system cloning/copy (heterogeneous/homogeneous) and SAP backup/restore procedures for database- and OS-specific systems.

Required qualifications include:

  • At least 2 years of working experience as SAP Basis.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems implementation and support.
  • PREFERRED: Experience in client copies, system cloning/copy (Heterogeneous/Homogeneous), transport management, user accounts management, patch management, and backup/restore of SAP systems.
  • PREFERRED: Installation, configuration, and maintenance of core SAP platforms.
  • PREFERRED: Administration of Microsoft Technologies.
  • PREFERRED: Administration of Linux.
