Job Overview

As a skilled SAP Basis Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the SAP system landscape.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and maintaining the SAP system landscape to ensure optimal performance
  • Configuring and administering SAP application servers, databases, and related components
  • Implementing and managing SAP system updates, patches, and upgrades to minimize downtime
  • Troubleshooting and resolving SAP-related issues and incidents in a timely manner
  • Automating and streamlining SAP system processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support SAP-enabled business processes and initiatives
  • Documenting and maintaining detailed records of all SAP-related activities and configurations
  • Providing technical guidance and support to end-users as needed
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a SAP Basis Administrator or in a similar position
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP architecture, system administration, and maintenance principles
  • Strong understanding of SAP system performance tuning and troubleshooting techniques
  • Proficiency in SAP system monitoring, backup, and recovery procedures
  • Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, customization, and user management
  • Familiarity with SAP security concepts and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant certifications in SAP Basis or related areas would be an asset
