Vessel Registrar Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a Vessel Registration Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working within the maritime industry, preparing and submitting documents for vessel registration, communicating and coordinating with various stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support.

  • Prepare and submit registration documents to relevant authorities in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with ship owners, managers, lawyers, banks, and financial institutions to ensure seamless registration processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date registration records and perform data entry tasks with high accuracy.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, file management, and correspondence to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding registration processes and provide technical guidance as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office, and database management skills. A diploma in Business or equivalent is also required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of maritime regulations and procedures.
  • Familiarity with registration software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
