The Building Technician role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we continue to grow and expand our services.

Job Description

The Building Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of building systems and equipment. This includes performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire alarms, etc.).
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal disruption to building operations.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and ensure all building systems comply with health and safety standards.
  • Address urgent maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, and report issues as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma in Facilities Management / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Building Services or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant facility management experience or equivalent.
