Job Title: Building Systems Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all building systems operate efficiently and effectively, with a focus on maintaining optimal performance and reliability.
About This Role:

This is a key position within our organization responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of building systems.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all building systems operate efficiently and effectively, with a focus on maintaining optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide 24/7 support as needed to respond to equipment failures or other emergencies, ensuring consistent operational status.
  • Conduct regular facilities inspections to identify issues and assess system conditions.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with facility systems, coordinating with technicians and external vendors as needed.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all critical systems.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers to source materials and maintain documentation.
  • Work closely with Facility Manager to monitor contractor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, including fire codes, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Manage non-conformance events and propose corrective actions.
  • Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits by ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
  • Develop emergency response plans for facility-related incidents.
  • Work closely with other departments to align facility operations with organizational objectives.
You Will Be Successful If:

You have a strong background in facility engineering or management, with experience in managing building systems and overseeing maintenance projects.

  • Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Facilities Management or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in facility engineering, facility management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in managing building systems and overseeing maintenance or improvement projects.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities-related regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to manage contractors and vendors to ensure quality work and service delivery.
  • Team player with hands-on capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.
