Investment Director Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Investment Director to lead our data center investment strategy. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successful investment deals in the data center, real estate, private equity, infrastructure, IT or technology industry.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data center operations, infrastructure, and technical requirements. They will also have strong financial acumen, with the ability to conduct thorough financial analysis and develop investment strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute investment strategies in the data center sector, including identifying potential opportunities and conducting due diligence.
  • Oversee the end-to-end investment process of data center projects, from site selection and acquisition to design.
  • Lead deal teams to structure and negotiate the closure of multiple acquisitions/divestitures of data center assets or DC operating companies.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including investment valuation, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, engineering, IT, computing science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in investment management within the data center, real estate, private equity, infrastructure, IT or technology industry.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to effectively manage teams and drive projects towards successful completion.
