We are seeking a seasoned investment expert to spearhead our data center investment strategy in the APAC region.

This pivotal role involves evaluating and executing investment opportunities related to real estate and digital infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying attractive investment themes and opportunities, as well as experience in managing site acquisition from land identification to pre-construction of data centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and execute investment opportunities in real estate and digital infrastructure.
  • Manage site acquisition, including hands-on site development works on power, water, fiber, etc.
  • Establish development risks and remedies.
  • Work closely with external parties, including land owners, government authorities, to ensure the site meets the data center requirements.
  • Closely interact with other business functions while being part of the investment team.
  • Provide extensive analysis on potential investments, including in-depth financial modeling.
  • Manage the due diligence process, including overseeing legal, tax, and commercial diligence advisors.
  • Learn and follow the dynamics of the data centers and digital infrastructure sectors.
  • Build relationships with country teams, as well as external advisors and industry experts.
  • Gather and synthesize industry and market data.
  • Review agreements and contracts related to acquisitions.
  • Draft and present oral and written materials to management.
  • Develop and support operational initiatives within the portfolio.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with investors, brokers, consultants, and financial institutions in the real estate and technology sectors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, real estate, or a related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience, preferably in a leading DC operator or hyperscale.
  • First-hand experience of the real estate transaction process.
  • Demonstrable network of real estate developers, land owners, and brokers/intermediaries across APAC.
