The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry, including knowledge of harbour management systems and processes. This role involves coordinating deployment of workers to construction sites based on project timelines and manpower needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and Deployment: Plan and coordinate the deployment of workers to construction sites based on project requirements.
- Attendance Tracking: Monitor daily attendance, working hours, and movement of workers across sites, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Manpower Management: Update manpower records and reports regularly, including daily/weekly/monthly summaries, to inform strategic decisions.
- Recruitment and HR Support: Coordinate with HR for recruitment, work permit applications, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Worker Welfare: Support worker welfare and handle grievances and disciplinary matters effectively, promoting a positive work environment.
- Logistics and Accommodation: Assist in arranging accommodation, transport, and other logistics for workers as needed, enhancing their overall experience.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits, including nighttime checks if necessary, to ensure effective management and monitoring.
Required Skills:
- Tableau: Proficiency in data analysis and visualization using Tableau.
- Harbour Management Systems: Knowledge of harbour management systems and processes.
- Revenue Management: Understanding of revenue management principles and practices.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Construction Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction operations, including industry trends and best practices.
- Data Analysis: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making.
- Regulatory Affairs: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
