Job Title: Legal Counsel

As a seasoned Legal Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's compliance with Singapore laws and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and support across the business operations, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including vendor, client, partnership, employment, and service agreements.
  • Advise management on legal risks, corporate governance, intellectual property, and data privacy matters.
  • Manage regulatory and licensing issues relevant to the industry.
  • Liaise with external counsel when necessary and manage litigation or dispute resolution processes.
  • Assist in company secretarial duties, including preparation for board meetings, filings with relevant authorities, and maintaining statutory registers.

Requirements:

  • LL.B or equivalent legal qualification; No need for Singapore Bar admission.
  • Above 10 years of Post-Graduate Experience (PQE), preferably with experience in a corporate/commercial law firm or in-house legal team.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance in Singapore.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective liaison with stakeholders in China.
