Job Title: Lawyer -

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our team as a Legal Counsel. As the primary legal advisor, you will be responsible for handling trust-related tasks, including drafting and negotiating trust deeds, wills, and fiduciary documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main legal advisor for the Singapore office, managing 70-80% of trust-related tasks.
  • Manage legal risks in trust administration, succession planning, and cross-border regulations.
  • Serve as the liaison for internal teams and external partners.
  • Assist the Group General Counsel with corporate governance and commercial matters.
  • Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on trust operations.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed attorney in a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
  • Experience in a reputable trust company, family office, or law firm serving high-net-worth clients.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Proficient in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate complex legal issues into practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and a focus on meeting deadlines.
