Alumni Engagement Manager

We are seeking a skilled Alumni Engagement Manager to cultivate, engage and inspire alumni to stay connected with their alma mater.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify student and alumni behaviors, interests and needs.

  • Develop and implement plans for identifying, cultivating and engaging student and alumni leaders and volunteers
  • Establish and build relationships with alumni and maintain regular communications via direct contact, email blasts, alumni portal, e-newsletters and social networking platforms
  • Plan and execute impactful alumni engagement events, including talks, networking sessions, mentoring programmes, and signature institutional events

Skill Requirements:

  • Possess at least a recognized university degree
  • Relevant work experience in an education institution environment dealing with student or/and alumni with at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial capacity preferred
  • Proficient in using desktop applications and social media platforms
  • Experience in conceptualizing, planning, coordinating and executing projects that involve multiple parties/organizations
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking across multiple projects
  • Self-motivated, organized and able to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Team player with good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with different levels of people
