Job Description

The primary goal is to have a robust background in wealth management and asset allocation, accompanied by exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. The role involves efficient management of stock and cash breaks, as well as timely and accurate processing of security transfer requests.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all relevant approvals are obtained, coordinating with various teams, and escalating any deviations from procedure. Additionally, they will need to manage daily requests for security transfers, provide seamless services to the front office, and adhere to procedures and control guidelines.

They should possess strong interpersonal skills, administration skills, and economics knowledge. This is an entry-level position that involves pre-processing checks, coordinating portfolio transfers, and managing failed transfers. The candidate should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and provide value-added services to the front office.

  • Perform pre-processing checks for all transfers and coordinate Portfolio Transfers
  • Ensure all relevant approval is obtained and instruction provided by Business adheres to client's signing mandate and procedure
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth transition of client assets as well as Portfolio transfers via Letter of Undertaking
  • Elevate any deviation from procedure
  • Collaborate closely with Front Office, internal departments, custodians, and counterparties
  • Proficiently manage daily requests for security transfer from initiation to completion
  • Process security transfer requests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Effectively manage and resolve failed transfers
  • Comply with procedures, control guidelines, market regulations, and compliance framework
  • Deliver seamless, efficient, and value-added services to the front office
  • Manage stock and cash breaks effectively
  • Conduct end-of-day control checks
  • Address exceptions according to the exception handling framework
  • Resolve queries from Business within expected timeframe or escalate to the correct parties
  • Identify process gaps and collaborate with team to review process efficiency and deliver improvements
  • Participate in projects as required
