Reliability Engineer Job Description

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our products. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement reliability test structures, conduct testing and analysis, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support on qualification and reliability improvements;
  • Executing benchmarking exercises on reliability testing methodology and process qualification criteria;
  • Designing and characterizing reliability test structures for qualification and definition of reliability layout rules and models;
  • Establishing reliability test requirements for new technology;
  • Providing technical support to customers on building-in reliability into final products;
  • Continuously improving reliability test cycle time and accuracy through refinement of test structure design and test methodologies;
  • Assessing reliability risk for process changes, fab excursions, and field failures from customers;
  • Building up modeling for HCI/NBTI/TDDB/EM/BEOL TDDB failure mechanisms and using the modeling to support IC designers' reliability risk assessment;
  • Having ownership of the definition, documentation, and maintenance of test procedures, test findings, and tools, plus training of reliability staff.

Additional responsibilities include performing all activities in a safe and responsible manner and supporting all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements and programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education – Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering (Electronics, Materials, or Physics) or PhD;
  • Years of Experience – minimum 7 years of experience in semiconductor reliability;
  • Fluency in English Language – Written and Verbal.
