Job Overview

Xnergy is a multi-VC funded and Sovereign-backed power solutions company, pioneering high-power universal contactless charging for global electrified mobility.

We were voted a APAC 25 company in 2020 by Cleantech Group, recognizing our potential to make a significant impact in the next five-to-ten years.

Our HQ is based in Singapore, with plans to expand into new markets including Korea, US/LATAM, EU & Japan over the next three years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative mechanical concepts, designs, and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, field applications, and sales teams for specifications, design, prototyping, and fabrication.
  • Work closely with suppliers and fabricators to deliver required solutions.
  • Support other functions such as field applications to customer sites as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • At least three years of relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge and experience in mechanical product design and assembly, 2D/3D CAD application with SolidWorks for fabrications, tolerance analysis.
  • Familiarity with fabrication methods (sheet metal fabrication, CNC, 3D printing), materials (metal and plastic), and understanding of complete product design cycle.
  • Experience in design of die casting and plastic injection molding is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, being proactive and creative, and willing to take initiative.
  • Persistent yet open-minded with an understanding of industry trends.
