Brokerage Executive/Brokerage Clerk Job Summary

">About the Role:

The ideal candidate will provide expert insurance broking advice and insurance placement for clients, build strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and recommend suitable insurances coverage.

  • Detailed underwriting information gathering from clients for submission to underwriters for quotation and terms.
  • Careful review of rates, terms and conditions of quoted insurances and advising clients accordingly.
  • Ongoing monitoring of respective clients' statement of accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments from clients.
  • Daily review of renewal business list and taking necessary action to renew clients' expiring policies where applicable and necessary.
About the Skills:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin speaking associates.
  • A Diploma in any discipline is required.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in insurance/bank industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Possess a Commercial General Insurance (CGI) certificate or be willing to obtain one fully funded by the company.
