Installation Engineer
Job OverviewThe Installation Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth installation of home appliances. This position involves conducting site assessments, communicating with customers, and installing appliances according to manufacturer specifications.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct Site Assessments: Evaluate locations to determine the best spot for appliance installation.
- Customer Communication: Explain installation processes and address customer concerns effectively.
- Appliance Installation: Install home appliances in accordance with manufacturer specs and industry standards.
- System Testing: Verify installed systems are functioning properly.
- Training and Support: Provide customer demonstrations on system usage and maintenance, as well as troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, including parts used and labor hours.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to schedule installations.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- No less than 5 years of experience in a related position.
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills and strong communication abilities.
- The capacity to work independently with minimal supervision and lead teams when necessary.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- The flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
