Home Appliance Installation and Maintenance Technician

\

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team. As a Home Appliance Installation and Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing home appliances at various customer locations island-wide.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • \
  • Install and maintain home appliances, including kitchen products, at customer locations.\
  • Conduct basic user-training for customers on the proper use of home appliances.\
  • Prepare and explain after-service reports to customers.\
  • Represent the company professionally as a frontline staff member.\
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to achieve common goals.\
  • Take follow-up action on outstanding issues in a timely manner.\
  • Provide necessary service and assistance as directed by management.\
  • Spare part management.\
  • Any other ad-hoc assignments as required.\
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.\
  • Contribute to the improvement of installation and maintenance processes.\\/ul\[B]

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • \
  • National ITE Certificate (or higher) in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.\
  • At least 1 year of working experience in servicing major home appliances.\
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and drawings.\
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical schematics.\
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and take corrective measures to resolve issues.\
  • Hold a valid Class 3 Driving License for site traveling.\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\\/ul\[B]
