We are seeking a compassionate and responsible individual to assist residents with daily needs, deliver meals, and provide non-medical support in a respectful manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support residents with mobility and facilitate participation in activities to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
- Promote resident engagement and safety by participating and facilitating on-site and off-site activities.
- Collect and record data related to residents' progress and well-being to inform care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans and assess residents' evolving needs.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by washing, folding, and returning residents' clothes and bedding promptly.
Cleanliness and Organization Responsibilities:
- Clean resident areas, shared spaces, and other parts of the area following established cleaning protocols.
- Ensure all surfaces, fixtures, and equipment are germ-free and clean, safely handling laundry and cleaning products.
- Prepare spaces for events and activities, and assist in cleaning and sanitizing afterward.
- Contribute to the safety and security of the building.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Hold a minimum WPLN Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Nursing.
- Previous experience in healthcare assistance or housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrate supervisory skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism and in residential/special needs settings is beneficial.
Work Schedule:
- Shift work with no night shifts.
