The role of the Fleet Operations Manager is to oversee the technical operations of a fleet of Bulk Carriers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily maintenance and repair activities, survey schedules, and docking operations.

Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Marine Engineer to join our team as a Bulk Carrier Technical Lead. As a key member of our technical department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. You will work closely with our senior management team to develop and implement technical strategies that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily maintenance and repair activities
  • Coordinate survey schedules and docking operations
  • Maintain updated records of class status
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements under ISM, ISPS, and MLC

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
  • Sea-going experience as a Marine Engineer
  • At least 2 years of shore experience in a technical superintendent or fleet manager role
  • MOT Engineer Certification (Class 1)
