Freelance Psychologist/Counsellor Role

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Psychologist/Counsellor to join our team of dedicated professionals who share a passion for supporting children's mental health and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's emotional, behavioural, and psychological needs to inform the development of individualised treatment plans.
  • Provide one-on-one counselling or therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to address issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioural challenges, and social skills deficits.

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field is essential.
  • Valid registration with the relevant professional body in Singapore is mandatory.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly in a therapeutic or counselling context, is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, mental health issues, and therapeutic techniques is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to working with children and their families, are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and customise therapy plans based on each child's progress and evolving needs is necessary.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's mental health and emotional well-being is vital.
