Central Facilities Manager

Description

The Central Facilities Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities. This includes ensuring that all maintenance tasks are performed according to plan and scope, and that facility-related components are properly maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Management

    The Central Facilities Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing routine and scheduled maintenance plans, as well as planning cyclical upgrades and enhancements for all facilities.

  • Budgeting and Financial Management

    This role will also involve preparing and monitoring operational budgets to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Service Provider Management

    The Central Facilities Manager will oversee and coordinate the work of outsourced service providers, ensuring quality performance and compliance with service expectations.

  • Safety and Quality Inspections

    This role requires conducting regular safety and quality inspections across all facilities, including after-hours checks when necessary, and initiating corrective actions for identified hazards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education

    A degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Facilities Management is required.

  • Experience

    At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar industry is required.

  • Skills

    The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of facilities management and general knowledge across real estate functions such as planning, development, asset and project management.

  • Communication Skills

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic environment.
