Facilities Management Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Management Professional to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a passion for facilities management and want to make a real impact.

Job Description:

The Facilities Management Professional will be responsible for managing and supervising technical staff, including technicians and contractors, to ensure that all facility-related tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes coordinating with various teams such as FM, security, and carpark teams to carry out duties as specified.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and training technicians to ensure they are familiarised and knowledgeable of contract requirements. The role also involves managing technical staff, including direct contractors or parties engaged by the client for facility management services in various specific disciplines.

Other key responsibilities include conducting regular sub-meetings with subcontractors/stakeholders, taking minutes, and ensuring that all projects, preventive maintenance works, and SOPs are carried out timely and according to planned schedule as per the agreed Response, Delivery, and Completion Time as stated in this Contract.

The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical, electrical, fire protection, lift & escalator, ACMV, BMS, audio visual, and facilities management, with a strong background in project management and team leadership.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in mechanical, electrical, fire protection, lift & escalator, ACMV, and/or BMS or its equivalent;
  • Higher Nitec or Nitec in Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in mechanical, electrical, fire protection, lift & escalator, ACMV, and/or BMS or its equivalent;
  • Self-motivated with good written and communication skills and computer literate;
  • Meticulous and a good team player with the ability to manage a team of technicians.

The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
