Job Title: Chief Housekeeping Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor/Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel guests receive a high level of housekeeping services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure efficient service delivery and maintain a clean and comfortable environment for guests.
  • Staff Management: Set up duty rosters and work assignments for staff, providing training and supervision as needed to ensure team members are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and requisition supplies, linens, and cleaning materials as required.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to coordinate daily work schedules and monitor performance to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Sustainability: Implement systems for tracking lost and found items, and develop strategies to minimize waste and reduce environmental impact.

Requirements:

  • Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
