Housekeeping Director

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the operational aspects of housekeeping and internal laundry, ensuring that guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas are immaculately clean and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and manage a team of housekeeping staff to guarantee efficient room cleaning and maintenance.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.
- Develop and implement effective housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software applications quickly.
- Certification in hospitality or related field.
- Experience with inventory management and purchasing processes.
- Knowledge of sustainable practices and environmental initiatives.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
