Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as Senior Assistant Manager, Laboratory Services. The incumbent will be responsible for providing technical excellence across multiple laboratories in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in laboratory operations, asset management, and technical support. They will be responsible for managing procurement, overseeing asset management, and maintaining proper records for inventory auditing. Additionally, they will support all assigned laboratory teaching classes and administer, configure, and maintain a GPU cluster.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and minimum 5 years of working experience. They will possess good command of common clustering framework, proficiency in Linux/Unix OS, familiarity with NVIDIA software libraries and common deep learning libraries, and reasonable scripting skills for further automation. They will also have good knowledge of laboratory operation, processes, and procedures, as well as laboratory safety rules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Laboratory Support: Provide administrative and technical support for all laboratory users.
- Procurement: Manage procurement for laboratory teaching and research labs.
- Asset Management: Oversee asset management and maintain proper records for inventory auditing.
- Laboratory Classes: Support all assigned laboratory teaching classes.
- GPU Cluster Management: Administer, configure, and maintain a GPU cluster.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Working Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience preferred.
