Japanese Regional Sales Manager

About the Role
Pasona Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our sales and distribution efforts in the ASEAN region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand our customer base, identifying new market opportunities, and building strong relationships with our distributors and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base within ASEAN
- Identify new market opportunities and appoint new distributors for the region
- Build strong relationships with distributors and business partners, and have a good understanding of consumer and market insights
- Implement the right route-to-market and commercial pricing strategies to ensure revenue growth
- Develop strategy development and execution for the business of Japanese products
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing or any related field
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales and distributor management of Japanese products in the region
- Strong understanding and exposure to ASEAN market
- Good leadership skills to coach and mentor team members, and have an entrepreneurial mindset to lead the company
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in sales presentations and negotiations
- Excellent stakeholder management, both internally and externally
- Good organizational skills and ability to work well across functional and regional teams
- Having network with Japanese Government Agencies will be an added advantage
- Prior experience with promotion of Japanese food products
