Job Role:

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will lead the sales efforts for our assigned products and territory to realize annual operating bookings plan and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote business for the assigned products and territory through strategic planning and execution.
  • Participate in and contribute to the development of TSI business strategy for the assigned products and/or territory.
  • Direct account management activities for the territory to drive account expansion and penetration, develop long-term relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including Marketing, to identify and assess new opportunities for existing products as well as opportunities for new product development.
  • Plan, organize, and accurately forecast territory bookings on a monthly basis.
  • Provide ongoing, quantitative evaluations of channel partners to the Regional Managing Director.
  • Drive and manage channel partners for sales growth and increase in market penetration.
  • Evaluate the need for new channel partners using gap analysis and identify/assess candidate organizations.
  • Gain an understanding of market trends, application needs, and customer-specific requirements to help conceptualize them into successful sales plans.
  • Contribute to the creation of all field materials, including brochures, data sheets, and other marketing collateral, when required.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to ensure effective delivery of sales tools to the field organization.
  • Collaborate with the customer support function to ensure that order entry, customer support processes are efficient and supportive of assigned industry customers and sales team needs.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Science or Engineering discipline.
  • Be fluent in English and Japanese to effectively interact with Japanese clients and the Singapore HQ.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of experience selling to different types of end-users in various markets.
  • Must have experience selling through channel partners in Japan.
  • Prior experience selling into Institutes of Higher Learning, Research and Development establishments, and Government Agencies would be advantageous.
  • Experience selling into industries such as Filtration, Emission Control, Test Laboratory, Semiconductor, and Health and Safety Services is preferred.
