Senior Technical Program Manager for Radar Systems

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with relevant work experience. Your appointment designation will be based on your qualifications and experience.

Job Description: We are seeking a strong, driven, and dynamic Senior Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team overseeing the entire life cycle management of next generation Radar Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and managing Radar projects, ensuring alignment with user objectives within established scope, cost, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and work with other teams for building and network infrastructure integration, ATM integrations, and resolve deployment and integration issues
  • Lead and liaise with other technical teams to resolve impediments, incidents, and issues
  • Ensure system compliance to CAAS and Government requirements, policies, and standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks which may impact the successful delivery of the radar systems
  • Support audit and addressing findings
  • Manage vendors and contractors to meet project delivery and operation needs
  • Perform procurement of the systems, including evaluation of proposed solutions
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders both internal and external (including other government agencies, system suppliers, maintenance operators, operation users, IT consultants/auditors etc.)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trained in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent with preferably 3-5 years of relevant working experience in project management and system implementation
  • Experience in project management, vendor management, incident management, problem management
  • Experiences with the operations or maintenance of safety critical systems (for example radars) are preferred
  • Possesses knowledge or understanding of Radar systems' architectures and environments
  • Strong experience in managing business, IT, and senior stakeholders
  • Sound understanding of the technical aspects of systems integration in an environment with diverse technologies
  • Good analytical skills, and able to multi-task and deliver results in a timely manner
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
