About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Senior System Support Engineer. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the installation, integration, and testing of radar systems onboard vessels. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of these projects, which are critical to our customers' operations.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with overseas Business Line units to perform installation, checkout, integration, and testing of radar systems onboard vessels.
  • Participating in system interface and integration tests.
  • Working closely with platform contractors in shipyards for mechanical installation and cabling works.
  • Setting up radar systems, aligning, calibrating, and performing checks to prepare for acceptance tests.
  • Conducting acceptance tests in harbour and performance tests at sea.
  • Evaluating system performance and generating test reports.
  • Supporting end-users in resolving technical and maintenance issues during system warranty.
  • Managing and coordinating with stakeholders for other Integrated Logistics Support activities.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong educational background in Electrical & Electronic or Computer Engineering, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles within Communication & Surveillance projects. Your expertise in Linux systems, Wireshark tool, network, and cybersecurity will be invaluable in this position. Additionally, you should have good experience working on radar systems onboard vessels and solid trouble-shooting skills.

As a collaborative team player, you should be comfortable working both independently and in a team-oriented environment. You should also be organized, motivated, and focused on customer needs. Occasionally, you may need to work late or during non-office hours to complete tasks in critical situations. Traveling overseas occasionally for trainings and meetings may also be required.

The salary range for this position is approximately SGD 120,000 - SGD 180,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary, medical insurance, and opportunities for career growth and development.
