Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
About the Role
We are looking for a strong, driven, and dynamic engineer candidate to be part of the Air Traffic Management System and Surveillance Projects (ATMSSP) Section.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team overseeing the entire life cycle management of next generation Radar Systems, starting from system planning and design phase to implementation phase and transitioning to operations and maintenance phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage Radar projects to ensure alignment with user objectives within established scope, cost, and schedule.
- Coordinate and work with other teams for building and network infrastructure integration, ATM integrations, and resolve deployment and integration issues.
- Lead and liaise with other technical teams to resolve impediments, incidents, and issues.
- Ensure system compliance to CAAS and Government requirements, policies, and standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the successful delivery of the radar systems.
- Support audit and address findings.
- Managed vendors and contractors to meet project delivery and operation needs.
- Perform procurement of the systems, including its evaluation of proposed solutions.
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders both internal and external.
Requirements
- Trained in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent with preferably 3-5 years of relevant working experience in project management and system implementation.
- Experience in project management, vendor management, incident management, problem management.
- Experiences with the operations or maintenance of safety critical systems are preferred.
- Possesses knowledge or understanding of Radar systems' architectures and environments.
- Strong experience in managing business, IT, and senior stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of the technical aspects of systems integration in an environment with diverse technologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when required.
- Familiarity with Government IM8 and CCoP and ATM domain is an added advantage.
- Good analytical skills, and able to multi-task and deliver results in a timely manner.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
- Self-driven, creative, and team-oriented person with good interpersonal and organizational skills, positive attitude, and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to travel for overseas visits, meetings, and training.
