Contract Management Specialist Position

The successful Contract Management Specialist will oversee all contractual and commercial matters for assigned projects. This role requires a strong leader with excellent negotiation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

  • Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors in tender preparation, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Review contracts, ensure compliance with terms, and handle claims/variations.
  • Provide strategic advice on cost and contractual risks.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Design and implement strategies to improve contract performance and reduce costs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in contract management.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Construction Management.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracts and procurement practices.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

This is a client-facing role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
