Assistant Manager, Strategic Partnerships

Job Description

The role of the Assistant Manager, Strategic Partnerships is to oversee the daily operations of a team responsible for facilitating patient appointments and providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent will review and establish systems and processes for efficient management of the team, including defining key metrics that elevate patient and stakeholder experiences and enable conversions.

The Assistant Manager, Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for establishing KPIs and monitoring key metrics related to internal and external stakeholders experience. This includes managing relations with key corporate accounts and designing workflows to ensure seamless service delivery.

In addition, the Assistant Manager, Strategic Partnerships will serve as a back-up to the Director, Strategic Partnerships, performing any other duties assigned by the Director.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Business Administration or equivalent, with a minimum of 6-8 years of working experience in a healthcare setting or similar. They will have direct experience with insurance authorization processes, operational KPIs around appointment timing and turnaround times, patient triage and patient experience.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be meticulous and have attention to detail. They will also have the ability to work in a sensitive environment where patient and caregiver experience is paramount.

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 6-8 years of working experience in a healthcare setting or similar
  • Direct experience with insurance authorization processes, operational KPIs around appointment timing and turnaround times, patient triage and patient experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
