Seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Systems Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and overseeing the mechanical and electrical systems in construction or industrial projects.

  1. Design and develop comprehensive building systems, including HVAC, lighting, power distribution, and plumbing systems.
  2. Collaborate with architects and civil engineers to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems into project designs.
  3. Verify that all designs comply with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  4. Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and plans for mechanical and electrical installations.
  5. Oversee installation of building systems, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and adherence to specifications.
  6. Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of building systems to guarantee operational efficiency and performance standards.

You will work closely with other engineers, contractors, and project managers to deliver high-quality results. We are looking for a candidate with exceptional problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, focusing on construction, building services, or industrial projects.
  • Prior experience in school projects is an advantage.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification or relevant qualifications in M&E engineering is a plus.
