Job Title: Master Culinary Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Culinary Lead to oversee our kitchen operations. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Create menus that cater to the diverse tastes and preferences of our customers, while also introducing new and innovative dishes to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Develop and implement efficient food preparation and cooking procedures to ensure timely delivery of meals to our customers.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen safety and sanitation practices, adhering to local health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in food preparation and presentation.
- Liaise with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and maintain relationships with key vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan orders accordingly to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experience.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment.
- Degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
- Proficiency in kitchen management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Familiarity with local health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
