Job Summary:

The Reservations Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of inquiries and requests with professionalism and poise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests, responding promptly to their needs and queries.
  • Coordinate guest service requests with relevant departments, ensuring seamless communication and efficient resolution.
  • Manage basic reservations, including new bookings, amendments, cancellations and special requests, maintaining accurate records and following up to ensure completion.
  • Collaborate with Front Office to ensure smooth pre-arrival and in-house experiences, working together as a cohesive team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Stay updated on hotel services, room types, promotions and local information to support guest enquiries, demonstrating a genuine interest in providing exceptional service.
  • Supervise day-to-day Reservations operations, rendering assistance and guidance to junior team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and mentorship.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality or customer service roles, preferably in a similar capacity.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and coordination skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in Opera PMS and reservations systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional service at all times.
