We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team.

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of medical equipment. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing schedules for commissioning, preventive maintenance, and calibration of equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage schedules: Create and maintain schedules for commissioning, preventive maintenance, and calibration of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Establish and review protocols: Develop and implement protocols for calibration and preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee maintenance programs: Manage and execute preventive maintenance and calibration programs to ensure that medical equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with service providers: Liaise with external service providers on contractual and service-related issues, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Evaluate decommissioned equipment: Assess medical equipment submitted for decommissioning by end-users, determining its suitability for reuse or disposal.

To succeed in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field and 4-6 years of experience in servicing and maintaining medical equipment. Additionally, strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external service providers.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field with at least 4-6 years of experience in servicing and maintaining medical equipment.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
  • Healthcare/Hospitals Experience: Prior experience working in healthcare or hospitals is advantageous but not required.
