Maintenance Supervisor Role

Overview of Job Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the repair and maintenance of equipment to ensure high availability and reliability while ensuring safety standards are met.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate and execute servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance activities to meet safety regulations and minimize downtime.

2. Provide recommendations for equipment overhauls to prevent disruptions to operations and provide optimal rectification proposals.

3. Supervise supervisors and maintenance technicians in carrying out assigned tasks.

4. Ensure troubleshooting, rectification and re-activation of equipment to avoid delays and downtime during breakdown maintenance.

5. Enforce adherence to workplace safety, security and health policies and procedures.

6. Maintain safe working conditions through strict enforcement of good housekeeping standards.

7. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head.

Requirements:

1. Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC qualification in Motor Vehicle / Mechatronic or Diesel Mechanic.

2. Preference given to those with relevant working experience and knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic & Pneumatic fields.

3. Possession of minimum LTA Class 3 driving license and above.
