Job Title

Museum and Culture Associate is a dynamic role that plays a pivotal part in the administration of Singapore's heritage and cultural sector.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent project management abilities, and a keen interest in cultural affairs. They must also be able to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have demonstrated leadership experience through previous work or academic projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive the implementation of Singapore's Culture Pass programme through coordinating and processing heritage-related applications, identifying areas for process improvements and suggesting innovations.
  2. Develop and manage basic data analytics, generating insights from heritage programme participation patterns to inform policy decisions.
  3. Support stakeholder engagement initiatives by managing applicant relationships, building a stakeholder database for client planning, and providing exceptional service to clients.
  4. Conduct programme evaluation through site visits and assessments, contributing to quality assurance and programme enhancement.
  5. Support policy research by collecting and analysing data for client-driven Culture Pass initiatives.
  6. Contribute to the development of best practices in heritage Culture Pass programme administration.
  7. Perform secretariat duties for Culture Pass, including note-taking, compilation of presentation decks, and scheduling of meetings and site visits.
Working Arrangements

Location: City Hall
Duration: 1 Year (Imm)
Working Hours:
Mondays to Fridays (9am to 6pm)

Requirements
  1. Fresh graduates or early career professionals with a degree in any discipline. Those with backgrounds in Arts Management, Social Sciences, Business Administration or related fields would have an advantage.
  2. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and generate meaningful insights.
  3. Strong writing skills.
  4. Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge of data visualisation tools would be an advantage.
  5. Excellent project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives independently.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
  7. Keen interest in Singapore's heritage and cultural sector.
  8. Demonstrated leadership experience through CCAs, internships, or previous work experience.
  9. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose and implement process improvements.
  10. Willing to work on weekday evenings and weekends if required for programme visits [Note: Days off-in-lieu will be provided accordingly].
