Job Summary
This is a challenging role for a skilled Project Manager to lead and deliver multiple enhancements for the national healthcare programme, across private and public healthcare, and manage the migration of data and functionalities as part of the Data Centre Migration.
Key Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Release Delivery team and serve as a bridge between business and IT to translate complex business needs into system solutions. You will manage delivery within a multi-stakeholder environment (internal and external), develop project plans, identify and coordinate resources, involving those outside the unit to meet outcomes and deadlines.
Project Management
1. Manage Data Migration and other Functional projects as part of NEHR Data Centre Migration and be responsible for the execution from planning to initiation to completion.
2. Determine project goals to ensure the project supports business objectives and strategies.
3. Communicate project objectives to obtain buy-in from all stakeholders.
4. Perform scoping and coordination of assessments and drive assessments to delivery.
5. Develop project plans which include requirements, scope, deliverables, resources, budget, and schedules.
6. Define project tasks and resource requirements to achieve optimal resource utilization.
7. Ensure technical solutions are suitable and enforce the use of best practices and frameworks for project implementation.
8. Identify, manage, and track issues, risks, and dependencies that affect the delivery of the project outcome.
Business and System Analysis
1. Contribute to the development of Data Migration and functional strategy.
2. Oversee the day-to-day management of all functional areas of system analysis.
3. Establish a technical roadmap for systems analysis.
4. Set guidelines for system analysis and improvements.
5. Liaise with senior stakeholders to understand needs and gather requirements.
6. Make presentations to stakeholders on opportunities and constraints of processes and systems.
7. Prioritize user requests in line with software system strategy.
8. Formulate system scope and objectives.
Requirements
Requirements / Qualifications:
1. Degree in IT or equivalent.
2. At least 6-8 years within the IT industry, with at least 4 years of relevant hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems.
3. Solid understanding of SDLC and experience through minimum 5 full project lifecycles.
4. Good grasp of IT technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
5. Experience in one or more of the following types of project implementations: data centre migration, data migration, or major system implementation.
6. Possess leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with different groups of stakeholders.
7. Strong critical skills such as collaboration, oral, written, and verbal communication skills, and analytical capability.
8. Increased acumen for planning, strong time management skills, and ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
9. Strong planning and time management skills.
10. People, result, and customer-oriented with multi-tasking capabilities.
11. Able to work under pressure.
12. Must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment, and be a good team player.
13. Healthcare domain knowledge would be an advantage.
