About the Role:
This exciting Banking Officer position requires a professional with excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of banking laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Accountancy, or Business, and have some experience working in Financial Institutions/Banks.
Key Responsibilities include performing periodic and ad hoc Anti-Money Laundering (AML) reviews on existing Retail Banking Individual Customers, including obtaining necessary documentation. Enhanced AML due diligence for higher-risk customers is also required to understand their Source of Wealth journey.
In addition, the Banking Officer will be responsible for identifying gaps in customer Know Your Customer (KYC) profiles and highlighting required information to address STR red flags or SOW gaps. The role also involves ensuring transactions are in line with customer profiles and assisting with administrative tasks, projects, and other assignments as needed.
Requirements:
- A minimum Diploma/Degree in Banking, Finance, Accountancy, or Business.
- Some experience in Financial Institutions/Banks preferred.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of banking laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
