Job Title: Senior Technical Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled mechanical engineer to join our team as a senior technician. As a senior technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and repair services to valued clients. Your primary role will be to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment such as vacuum pumps and compressors, among other tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment.
  • Running and interpreting QC test results and making diagnostic recommendations.
  • Preparation of service and safety documentation, including Work Permits, Safe Work Procedures, Method of Statement, Risk Assessments and Service Reports.
  • Keeping abreast of advancements in the field and attending workshops as required.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
  • Working together with other technicians/engineers as a team in projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum higher NITEC/ITE qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 2 years experience in servicing and repair of facilities equipment, with experience in vacuum pump, compressors and diaphragm pumps being a plus.
  • Basic knowledge in electrical circuits, engineering and safety.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work with others in a team.
